Comfortable seats, good food, good service. Prefer Latam unless you must have window side single seat, then go for qantas.Seating Recommendation
Tips for other travellers
Qantas has 1-2-1 config with newer aircraft however Latam has better food and service, and if you don’t have to have window single seat, Latam seats have more space, your feet are not under the bulkhead of the seat in front of you. Latam airfares are usually cheaper.

Flat bed, spacious, only 5 rows, lucky no crying kids in business cabin.Services are ordinary, food is OK. Cabins, toilets not that clean. Still prefer Latam on this route, at least more space and less crowded than Qantas. They will also have direct flights from Sydney to Santiago later in the year
Seating Recommendation
The entrance/traffic is between row 3 and row 4 in business class. Definitely prefer the first three rows without seeing everyone boarding.Among row 1-3, prefer row 3. Row1 is too close to service station and toilets.
Tips for other travellers
If you have connecting flights in Santiago, and have to collect luggage, you will go through customs and Australians have to pay for taxes to exit, over $100, except APEC card holders.
