Beautiful island, stunning scenery and sunsets. Designer shopping.
The Beach is not easy to get to unless you stay at the port, but most hotels and shops are on the hilltop.
We liked Anacapri more as it is peaceful and not too commercial. We also found a great restaurant called Le Arcate recommended by a local. There are regular buses going to Anacapri costing €2.
Although the temperature is supposed to be in the late 20s, it feels hot during the day. And it's very crowded with many day-trippers. Expect long queues for the cable car during peak seasons.
While we were there, the Ferrari sales event was on so the town was buzzing with lots of private and public functions.

To avoid long queue for cable car, you can take taxi, costing approx €20 from the port to hotels on the hilltop.
To travel to Capri:
take a boat transfer at the port in Naples, you dont have to prebook, there're many options, duration 1-1.5hours.
If traveling from Rome, take a train from Termini, taking just over an hour.. you will need a taxi from train station in Naples to the port.
