Travellers can soon channel the luck of the Irish with Cathay Pacific’s new direct flights to Dublin.
The new year-round flights will start from June 2, 2018 and will operate four times per week using the airline’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350 aircraft.
This will be the first ever direct route from Dublin Airport to the Asia-Pacific, marking a monumental milestone for the airport and indeed for the Irish economy.
In a statement to Dublin Airport news, Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison said, ‘We are thrilled to welcome Cathay Pacific to Dublin Airport and Ireland,’ he also added, “Dublin Airport is competing for routes like this with other major European airports, so winning this new business is hugely positive news for Ireland, for foreign direct investment, for Irish exporters, and for inbound tourism.”

Dublin is a fantastic destination and attracts business and leisure travellers from the world over.
