Apart from Amman Citadel, we didn't find too many exciting places to visit in the city. Try some yummy local dish with your guide.
We reviewed a couple of top luxury hotels in Amman.
We had dinner at the Salt Steakhouse inside Fairmont, food is pretty good.
You can shop for some unique jewellery.
The Dead Sea experience is a must! It's about 1.5 hours pleasant drive from Amman. And the best stay is at Kempinski, a beautiful holiday resort with everything you need! It has a three-level large spa centre where you can stay for a day!
The resort has a few large swimming pools, restaurants and a couple of touristy shops. Its a photographer's paradise.
Staff are friendly and helpful.
Unlike in Egypt, Jordanians don't necessarily expect tips but happy to accept.
Wonderful place for a romantic getaway or group events.
Tips for other travellers
Try falafel at Abu Jbara and Arabic sweets at Nafisa
