Review
Apart from nice pyjama and cute amenity bag, and fast track service through Bangkok Airport incl picking up your luggage and take you to exit, the rest is not as good as first class in Singapore Airlines, Etuhad, Emirates etc, its worth paying the extra thousand in my opinion.
The bed is flat but bit narrow for big guys
Tips for other travellers
At Sydney Airport, staff told you to use air NZ lounge for both first or business class passengers, but I think you can get into Singapore Airlines first class lounge

The toilets on board are right behind the last row, perhaps better sitting in first or second row. The couples row is in front of the bathrooms, the rest are all window single seats
