I travelled from St Petersberg on a domestic flight, its easy when both flights are with Aeroflot. After collecting luggage, go through a passage to check in counter and a minute walk to a lift to third floor for departure passport controlFlatbed on board, reasonably comfortable. Service is not bad. It's the cheapest and most direct route with Aeroflot from Sydney to NYC via Russia. I didn't expect much, but the experience was better than I thought. I can travel with them again.
Tips for other travellers
When buying domestic flights to connect with Aeroflot International flights, it's more convenient at airport if domestic flight is with Aeroflot too.
